We usually work from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM CST with a one hour break for lunch. Each Day with a Strategist is tailored to my client’s specific needs and goals, so no two days look alike.

We’ll connect via Zoom at the beginning of your day to finalize your goals for the day and create your prioritized checklist for me to work on. We will also decide how to tackle the day between working collaboratively via Zoom and me working solo on your checklist.

Absolutely! I will take short breaks each hour (about 5-10 minutes), as well as a 1 hour lunch break (not included in the 5 hours). You can take breaks whenever you like throughout the day.

Yes, you can definitely still hire me for Day with a Strategist. You’ll just want to keep the timezone difference in mind— I usually work 9 AM - 3 PM CST, so that may be too late or too early for you depending on your timezone. Days with a Strategist are geared toward working on your business website or with the other technology that fuels your business like your scheduling tool, email marketing platform, business email account, CRM (client relationship manager), and other similar tools.

Occasionally, clients will ask to use their Day with a Strategist with a different goal or intention. You can send me a message if you have other goals you’d like to focus on for your Day with a Strategist.

My recommended and preferred platforms are:

I am able to also work on the following platforms, though am not as well-versed in them so may need to do some additional research as we work with them:

Unfortunately, this is not likely. Five hours is just simply not enough time to fully build a new website from scratch, fine-tune the design, configure all the settings, and launch the site.

If you have an existing DIY Squarespace website, we can likely take it from DIY to Done during your Day with a Strategist.

We can also use your Day with a Strategist to start a new Squarespace website. Depending on what you have ready to go before your Day with a Strategist will determine how much we can get done on your new website.

This includes your website copy (the words on your site), your branding (colors, fonts, logos, images, etc.), and clarity around your website goals and what pages you want included on your site. It will also depend how much you’d like me to build on my own and how much you would like to build together, along with how much training you’d like on working with the Squarespace platform.

Usually, we can launch a small website over two Days with a Strategist.

This will depend entirely on a few things:

• How complicated is your client process?

• Are we tackling just onboarding a new client? Or are we also including parts of the client prospecting/inquiry stage and/or your client offboarding?

• Do you want a system for just one single service/offer without any variants? Or do you have multiple types of services/offers or several different variants for your service/offer? Variants include things like custom services, various payment plants, various lengths of time the service occurs over, different options for what’s included (like session combinations or the end goods the client receives).

• Are you clear on what you service is or are you wanting to or needing to work through that together during your Day with a Strategist?

• Do you have existing technology you want me to bring together in your system or do I need to set up new accounts for you? (like your scheduling tool, payment processing, etc.)

Realistically, if you’re pretty clear on the service you offer and what your process is, I can build out your process from the technology and automation side during a Day with a Strategist.

A couple caveats that may prevent us from completing your process build for one service are:

• If you want me to walk you through all of the technology to show you how it works, how you will use it, and other functionality it offers

• You aren’t completely sure about your client process and we need to fine-tune it more during our time together

• You actually have variations to your service that you didn’t initially realize

• We’re starting from scratch with technology and I need to set up all of the tech for your process and automation

Before we schedule your Day with a Strategist, we will connect for a Free Consult where we will talk about your goals for the day and I can ask some questions that will help me understand what we’ll be able to realistically accomplish over the 5 hours on your Day with a Strategist.

I love that you want to move your website from another platform to Squarespace!

Realistically, it is likely more than we can accomplish over one Day with a Strategist, especially if you want your website to be refreshed or redesigned in that platform switch.

We have three options:

• Schedule one Day with a Strategist and I start the move by essentially creating the “rough draft” of your website on Squarespace and providing you with some training to help you continue your DIY build

• Schedule two Days with a Strategist and we can likely move your website over to Squarespace. To help ensure we can meet this goal, you need to make sure you come to the sessions with the specific changes you want to your website design, copy (the words on the site), branding (colors, fonts, logos, images, etc.), and any structural changes like to the pages you have or your website flow.

• Reach out about a Custom Website Design instead. This option lets me take the time (usually about two weeks) to build you a truly custom website that is beautiful and strategic. You also will likely have a more enjoyable experience as you move through my website process over a couple weeks.

This is likely more than we can accomplish in a Day with a Strategist.

You may want to schedule two Days with a Designer, which would give us enough time to migrate a small website from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1.

Additionally, we can start the process and I can then give you some guidance on how to finish the migration/site build on your own.

You may also choose to go the Custom Website Design route instead. This option lets me take the time (usually about two weeks) to build you a truly custom website that is beautiful and strategic. You also will likely have a more enjoyable experience as you move through my website process over a couple weeks.
